Can I rent a portable toilet in Edgar while my bathroom is torn out?
A portable toilet can stay at your Edgar home for the whole remodel, billed every 28 days. Weekly service is included, so the tank gets pumped and the unit gets cleaned and restocked. Billing stops on the pickup date, with no separate removal fee.
Older homes in Edgar often have one bathroom. When the plumber pulls the floor or the old pipes, the family has nowhere to go. A unit by the back door solves that for a few weeks.
Pick a spot near the house but out of the work area. The truck needs to stop within about 10 feet. A driveway edge or a firm patch of yard works well.
- Same rate every 28 days.
- Weekly service included.
- Call or text to end billing.

Things to have ready when you call:

Harvest crews around Edgar need 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility per 20 workers, within a quarter-mile walk, under OSHA 29 CFR 1928.110. A towable unit can move between fields. Hand-wash stations hold about 18 gallons of fresh water and get a weekly refill on long rentals.
Harvest near Edgar runs from about September into November. Crews spread out across many fields, and a farmyard unit can end up far from the work. The towable unit is a standard unit on a small trailer, so the crew can pull it along.
Late harvest can run into hard freezes. From about November on, we add a salt-brine mix to the tank. In a hard freeze, a hand-wash station with water is swapped for hand sanitizer.
- Park the unit on a field road, not in soft ground.
- Face the door away from the wind.
- We stake units on open ground at no charge.
The OSHA rule is a legal minimum, not a full plan. Check your own crew needs. Our farm porta potty rental page covers more harvest setups.
