Rental Terms & Cancellation Policy

These terms cover every portable toilet, hand-wash station and restroom trailer rental from Riley Rental Works. Effective October 13, 2026.

How do booking and payment work?

A rental is booked in 2 steps: you approve the itemized quote, then pay by credit or debit card. The invoice arrives by text or email with a payment link. Contractors can ask for a business account with invoicing. Drivers do not collect cash.

How does billing work for event and long-term rentals?

Event rentals are a flat rate for the drop-off-to-pickup window, usually Thursday or Friday to Monday. Long-term and construction rentals bill every 28 days at the same rate and include weekly service. Billing stops on the pickup date. There is no separate pickup fee.

  • Renewal: 28-day rentals renew automatically until you ask for pickup.
  • Extra service visits are $75 each.
  • Same-day orders carry a rush fee starting at $75, shown on the quote.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancelling or changing a rental is free up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Inside 48 hours, a $50 trip fee may apply if the truck is already routed. Once a unit is delivered, the event rate or the current 28-day cycle is not refunded.

What am I responsible for during the rental?

The renter is responsible for the unit from delivery to pickup, including weekends between a Friday drop and a Monday pickup. Normal use and wear are covered. Damage from fire, vehicles, vandalism, graffiti, or tipping caused by misuse is charged at repair or replacement cost.

  • Keep the unit where the driver set it. Moving a unit can spill the tank.
  • Do not put trash, diapers, paint or chemicals in the tank. A cleanup charge may apply.
  • Keep a clear path for service and pickup trucks.

What do I need to provide for delivery and pickup?

Provide a firm, fairly level spot within about 10 feet of where a truck can stop, clear access on delivery and pickup days, and any gate codes. If a driver cannot reach the spot, the unit is placed at the closest safe point or a return trip fee may apply.

Placement in a street, sidewalk or public park may need permission from the city or park office. Check with them before delivery day.

How do I end a rental?

Call or text (402) 313-8043 to schedule pickup. Long-term billing stops on the pickup date, so call as soon as the job wraps up. Event units are picked up on the scheduled day, usually the Monday after the event, and no separate pickup fee is added.
